The Roman Archaeology Conference 10

The Roman Archaeology Conference is the premier Roman archaeological conference in the United Kingdom. It is a biennial event staged under the aegis of the Roman Society that brings together interested parties from all sectors to present and discuss the latest archaeological discoveries from the Roman world and beyond.

In 2012 the event is to be held for the first time in continental Europe. At the invitation of the Roman Society, RAC 2012 will be hosted by the Römisch- Germanische Kommission des Deutschen Archäologischen Instituts in Frankfurt am Main from 29 March to 1 April 2012, and held at the Goethe University, Frankfurt. The Theoretical Roman Archaeology Conference (TRAC) 22 will take place parallel to RAC. Accompanying events will include excursions to nearby archaeological sites and museums.
