Production and supply in the Roman world. Conference

The Oxford Roman Economy Project is organizing a one day colloquium on Production and Supply in the Roman World at All Souls College, Oxford on July 20th, 2011. The colloquium focuses on the world of production and supply in the Roman Empire and addresses a variety of topics, including papers on the economics of the northern Roman provinces and Roman Africa, on the socioeconomic history of labour, and on the economics of pottery production and trade.

The day will conclude with a keynote lecture by Jean-Pierre Brun (CNRS, Centre Jean Bérard (Naples); Collège de France). More information on the colloquium, as well as the programme can be found on our (new) website (http://oxrep.classics.ox.ac.uk).
